Respite Care

We appreciate that moving into a care home is a big decision, so respite care at the Dell and the Cottage offers the opportunity to experience life in our homes before committing to move in on a permanent basis. Respite care is also the perfect short-term solution for those who live independently at home but need a safe place to stay while their carer takes a break, or for those who need a helping hand with everyday tasks while they’re recovering from illness or injury.

With respite care, benefit from the same person-centred care, accommodation, meals, activities and events that you’d experience as a permanent resident, as well as the social side and sense of community at two of our Wellbeing Care homes.

Day Care

At the Dell in Oulton Broad, we offer day care at the Wellbeing Day Centre every weekday from 9am until 4pm at a rate of £30 per day. If you’re currently living independently in your own home, our Day Centre offers the ideal opportunity to socialise, enjoy hot homemade meals and snacks, and take part in all sorts of activities – optional treatments including chiropody and hairdressing can also be booked.

At the Wellbeing Day Centre, our focus is on fulfilling lives, so we encourage everyone to get involved in our stimulating activities and to reminisce with old and new friends. Day care also gives carers a chance to have a break with the peace of mind their loved one is in a safe, caring environment.

Supported Living

At Wellbeing Care, we offer supported living services in both Suffolk and Northamptonshire called Wellbeing Care Support Services. At both the Dell in Lowestoft and the Cottage in Wellingborough, self-contained apartments are available where residents can retain their independence, privacy and space, yet have assistance on hand whenever they need it in the form of domiciliary care tailored to their needs. We believe that this helps to create a real sense of home and community.

These services are available to those aged 65+ who would like that peace of mind that help is nearby if they should ever need it, and to individuals aged 18+ with learning difficulties who require a level of support to lead an independent life.

“Everyone is very kind and helpful and I know that I am safe here and looked after.”
